Our Mission:
Animal Cruelty Investigations (ACI) is a California nonprofit corporation dedicated to the prevention of cruelty to farm animals. ACI works to promote farm animal welfare through cruelty investigations, enforcement of humane protection laws, and the seizure of abused and neglected farm animals.
ACI was formed in 2007 by a team of lawyers, animal cruelty investigators, and farm animal sanctuary experts working in their fields to gain needed humane protection for farm animals. ACI received endorsement from the Superior Court of California and on April 16, 2007 was formed, under California’s Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation Law, as a corporation for the prevention of cruelty to animals with humane enforcement powers.
