You Can Help:
You can help prevent farm animal cruelty by becoming an ACI VOLUNTEER AND SUPPORTING MEMBER. Dedicated animal advocates are needed to assist with cruelty investigations, humane enforcement, and the rescue and care of abused and neglected farm animals.
Cruelty Investigations
ACI sends investigators to California stockyards, livestock auctions, factory farms, and slaughterhouses to investigate the treatment of farm animals, document animal cruelties, and help prosecute farm animal abusers.
YOU CAN HELP by joining our volunteer Stockyard Watch Team. There are over 49 stockyards in California that need to be monitored to enforce California’s downed animal protection law. Call 661-269-5404 or email us to sign up for a stockyard watch training day.

Humane Enforcement
ACI is a registered society for the prevention of cruelty to animals, with the authority to appoint humane officers to enforce California’s anti-cruelty laws and gain needed humane protection for farm animals.
YOU CAN HELP by becoming a trained Humane Officer in the State of California and working with ACI to promote farm animal protection. Call 661-269-5404 or email us for further information.

Farm Animal Rescue
Humane Officers appointed by ACI have the authority to seize abused and neglected animals. ACI works to gain legal custody of suffering farm animals to place them into sanctuaries and safe adoptive homes.
YOU CAN HELP by becoming a member of our Seize and Shelter Team to assist with animal seizures, rehabilitative care, and the placement of rescued farm animals. Email us to join today.
