The South Central 9 are ready for loving homes!!

ACI is happy to announce that all the dogs confiscated last month are recovering and are now ready for foster or permanent homes! Izzy (Mom #1) and her 4 newborn pups are currently living the good life in a foster home and will be ready for homes in several weeks. Kano (Dad), Heidi (Mom#2) and her 2 pups, are still being boarded at the vet and are ready to leave at any time! Kano has been neutered, Heidi has been spayed, her rash has healed and they are now all current on their vaccinations.

ACI was able to secure permanent custody of the nine confiscated dogs, thus ensuring they will not return to their dismal former lives in cramped, covered cages. But now we need your help! We need homes for these babies, or at least fosters, so we can get them out of boarding and into loving homes! They are being spoiled rotten at the vet's office, but nothing beats a family environment. If you are interested in fostering or adopting any of these sweet dogs, please contact us. If you are not able to adopt but would like to donate to their vet bills – we'd greatly appreciate it! ACI is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and all donations are tax deductible.










We'd like to remind everyone of the importance of sending tips like this to ACI first – before calling friends, sending emails, posting on Facebook, etc. Once people guilty of animal abuse/neglect know they are on animal lovers' radars – they often temporarily fix the situation, or worse yet, move the animals inside, which limits our ability to immediately act on the situation.
